WIPP Air emissions

I don't have the document in front of me, but I find it hard to believe that the WIPP EIS would not have addressed the issue of air emission (whatever they might possibly be). If it didn't, then I would submit that organizations such as CCNS, CARD, and the Southwest Research and Information Center either agree with DOE's decision to screen out issue of WIPP air emissions from the WIPP EIS or they (and their lawyers) fell asleep at the wheel!
I have worked on several National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) analyses for the DOE, and air emissions is pretty much part of the standard suite of impacts.
