I checked with Dr. Ruth Weiner, former staff member of the EEG, and on both points, you are correct. I misunderstood her in one of our previous conversations.

However, Dr. Weiner did clarify that the EEG has testified on behalf of the State of New Mexico when the State has brought legal action against the Federal government regarding WIPP. As far as "supporting" the SWRIC, she has informed me that certain members of the EEG have maintained a very close working relationship with organizations such as CCNS, CARD, and the SWRIC. It was informational support, not financial support to which Dr. Weiner was alluding.

Sorry for any confusion or misunderstianding.
