Does anyone have a better idea??
Posted by K.T. on March 23, 1999 at 18:04:29:The waste already exists. More will be made. I have read quite a bit regarding WIPP and although so many are against it, I surely haven't seen any other proposals for the disposals. (no rhyme intended)
Daily, across the entire country, we transport thousands of gallons of chemicals, gases and flammable fluids that require no more than a "sign"
on the back of a tank. Tanks that are designed to transport any type of liquid, including milk.
It seems to me, and I am only one single person, that the recent testing on these tanks for WIPP have proven them to be VERY safe.
This is going to happen. Does anyone have a better solution? Has it been tested and proven effective?
Just my point of view...I live in a country where I am allowed to have one.
Thanks K.T.
