Complex 2030 Scoping Hearing Schedule

Bombplex 2030 Scoping Hearings: DOE is holding scoping hearings across the country to receive public input about their proposal to modernize the nation's nuclear weapons complex.

After the hearings, DOE will release a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) that will analyze the potential risks of such activities. NNSA claims that "the SEIS will analyze the environmental impacts from the continued transformation of the United States' nuclear weapons complex by implementing NNSA's vision of the complex as it would exist in 2030, as well as alternatives."

The scoping hearings are your chance to tell the DOE what your vision of the year 2030 and what steps they must take to achieve that. By commenting now, we can effect their SEIS before it has been released. Click here to learn more about the Complex 2030 proposal.
